Dressed Like Mommy

On her last trip up here, my mom handed over something she's kept safe and sound for the last 27 years...a few of my baby clothes. So, I decided to play dress-up with Elliana. Thankfully, she's a good sport about it, at least right now. The little white shirt (probably supposed to be a dress) and red tights was the outfit I wore home from the hospital, which is why it probably fit more like a shirt on Elliana since I was about 3 months smaller. :) Elliana didn't seem to mind the difference in age/size.

This is what happens...

when dads join the party. :) We were able to have brunch with Charlie, Kristin, and Charles Joey last month. It was the first time all members of our little families had been able to get together. Our babies are just 9 days apart!

Her First Spring

We visited Cox Arboretum a couple of Saturdays ago to take in the blooming flowers and trees. We caught it at just the right time! The blooms were so pretty!

Daddy's new toy

I got a good laugh when I found my hubby trying out the carrier I just bought. Apparently, Elliana was fussing instead of taking a nap while I was in the shower, so he put his carrier to use and got her to sleep. He assured me that he had been busy walking around and had just now sat down.

The Strange Girls

The Strange twins are slightly outnumbered right now with Joey, Selah, Seanna, Elliana, and myself representing the female population in our family. I think the guys are okay with it, though. :)

Play Dates!

We've had fun getting together with Shelly & David (who's almost 7 months older) and Kristin & Charles Joey (who's 9 days younger) for walks. Sometimes Elliana prefers to sleep instead of play, and other times she's as happy as can be while her little friend wants to do something other than play. :)

Here is Elliana sporting the little Nike cap I found for $1.00.

First Resurrection Sunday

This was Elliana's first Resurrection Sunday! We're hoping and praying that she will understand the significance of the day at an early age. She was able to wear a little dress from Mamaw and Papaw, her great grandparents. :)
