Happy New Year, New Toys, and a Little Clown

For some reason, my Grandma gave Elliana a clown outfit for Christmas. Elliana had no trouble looking cute in it! She was none the wiser that she was not in normal attire.

Christmas Re-Cap part 2

We woke up to a quiet, peaceful white landscape on Christmas morning! It's the first time I can remember seeing snow on Christmas morning in my life, especially in Georgia! I guess the fact that it hasn't snowed on Christmas day in that part of GA for the last 20 or so years could be part of my being deprived of a white Christmas. :) It was quite beautiful to look outside and see everything snow-covered while snow continued to fall most of the day. It was a perfect day to stay inside and stay cozy, though I do regret not playing in the snow with Elliana. All in all, our Christmas in GA was a memorable, restful one.

Christmas Re-Cap

We celebrated Christmas with Max's side the week before Christmas. We all got together at our place, then traveled to the Creation Museum for their outdoor nativity/light display. Max and I made and decorated sugar cookies together for the first time. We didn't make them for anyone in particular. We managed to consume them on our own for the most part. :) This year we changed it up a little bit and headed to Georgia for Christmas Eve/Day since my mom was off from work. We were able to attend a Christmas Eve service with my mom before we headed over to spend the rest of the evening with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends. Elliana took it all in stride and was very comfortable with the new faces. Most of my family she's only seen once. I guess it helps when you have a Mamaw that will feed you when you're hungry and cousins to laugh when you do something silly. :) She finally gave into sleep in Uncle Roger's arms.
