We took a little road trip for the Fourth of July! We headed down to Franklin, TN, where a good friend lives with his new wife. Dan and Julie got married the day Elliana was born, so needless to say, Max didn't get to stand up with him in the wedding as hoped. We had a great time with them this past weekend. It was great to meet Julie and see their new home. They spoiled us with lots of good food, a fun time at the pool, and lots of good laughs. We also had the chance to visit their church, meet Julie's parents, and play with sparklers. I'd be amiss to not include my husband's handiwork on the camera capturing the sparklers in action. :) Elliana was a great little traveler, and the trip was refreshing in spite of the travel. Hopefully we can see them again before they head to Iraq to teach next summer.
